I had the pleasure of working with Zach and Nick to train my dog Marley. It is obvious they possess a profound love for what they do and also for your dog (Marley loves them too)! Their positive reinforcement training method fosters a nurturing & supportive learning environment. We were provided with all the necessary training tools & the skills necessary to continue working with Marley outside our sessions. They took their time and reviewed each session & answered all my questions! We have not only noticed an improvement in Marley’s behavior but it has also strengthened our bond. She has gone from a fearful girl to a more confident, better behaved member of our family. I cannot recommend this company enough! From the first session, Nick and Zach explained everything in an easy to understand way and made sure we were comfortable with their (very positive) methods. They included us in our dogs training every step of the way and gave us tools to continue training outside of sessions. We initially sought out training for our dog who was reactive when people came over, but we got so much more education and help than just that! From crate training, to obedience, to building confidence, Nick and Zach helped immensely in just 4 sessions - and our people-reactive boy loves them! I am beyond satisfied with the whole training experience I had with Nick and Zach at ZNG K9. I was looking for basic obedience and off leash control for my 11 month old German Shepherd Onyx and that’s exactly what I got and more. They’re both extremely knowledgeable and great at what they do. They were very transparent with what his sessions would be like and made sure I was okay with the training tools they would be using. They came up with and clearly communicated a plan that was best for me and my dog. When I dropped him off for his sessions they sent me pictures and videos which I loved. They gave me the guidance and knowledge so I can continue to work with him and allow him to reach his full potential. Onyx loved going to training with Nick and Zach and learning new things. I highly recommend ZNG K9 for any dog training needs!

We just finished with ZNG K9 Training for our 10 month old Lab/Pit Rescue named Pickle. We were having leash manner/walking problems, obedience maintenance (coming for her name etc), overall handeling questions & concerns. Pickle is 57 pounds and I started to feel uncomfortable with her strength on walks-she would pull at other dogs, cats, people, or cars! Never aggressive behavior-if anything she is too friendly & we always have to say that not everyone wants to be your friend!!
4 visits with Zach & Nick-Pickle acts completely different on the leash & around people. She listens to commands & usually responds immediately (she is still stubborn sometimes). She learned to place, heel, down, walk on the left, leash manners, and more. I feel confident walking her and confident having her around other people and animals!
Zach and Nick are local K9 officers. They have recently started this company & I have absolutely only positive things to say about them. Communication from day one was excellent. Quality of training and products used and explained was excellent. The price for the sessions and product is very reasonable. They are truly in this to help the dogs and owners. You can tell the dedication and pride they take in their new training program. I feel very lucky to have found them! They do use the prong collar and also e-collar (dogtra) brand. They took their time getting to know Pickle as well as teach my husband and I how to use those two collars properly and positively.
We met with Zach and Nick at a local park. It was the perfect place for distractions and hands on training! They always kept her on a long leash as a just in case in addition to either the prong or ecollar so we felt beyond comfortable!
